2/19/11

Yeah.....I didn't bring my laptop in today because I forgot it at my house. But today was probably the most productive day I've had so far. First I defended my base from an endless horde of evil balloons. Then I killed countless zombies that attempted to kill the village people.

I finished a majority of my project, so today was kind of a slack day for me. Since Eddie was not here today, I could not get together with him and discuss the project outline and the project's process.

Yeap....

OH GAWD! Its a good thing I drank a lot of milk the night before today, it helped clean out my system.

So today we had POPEYES! OH YEEEAAHHH, best food of my weekend, fried chicken with mashed potaters and gravy AND A BISCUIT!

For our Senior Capstone afternoon, Eddie, Ann, and I visited Mr. Bednarek at his office across the street and listened to him explain the cycles of cell trafficking and CMEC. He gave us a clear cut idea of how these processes work. During our work in the afternoon, Eddie and I worked on creating a plan for the next two months. Today's plan was to refresh the basic storyboards that we initially created. We then proceeded to edit and save images. It is crucial that we use the same images or else the projects may not be consistent.

I watched YouTube tutorials on how to make a special menu.

SENIOR CAPSULE BLOG THING 11/20/10

So yeah. I was late again this morning. Last night's Chinese got to my stomach overnight, I awoke with a volcano exploding in my stomach. I spent 20 minutes at the harbor launching submarines into the ocean (if you understand my analogy).

During the Senior Time Capsule work-afternoon, I worked on finishing my Proposal, filling in answers to questions and showing what my topic was and how I was going to depict the detail using Flash. Also, during this work time, I saved images on my laptop of the CME cycle.

During this time, I also researched on my topic a little bit. It's a cycle in replication of cells in a plant. Mainly during Cytokinesis, plants replicate cells that helps in the development of plant growth.

I started working on my outline/storyboard for my flash project. Ann decided that it would be better to create symbols within flash representing the different objects in CME instead of vectorize a couple of still images and then importing them to Flash's library. I agree with her partially, on the fact that it is more time consuming to create my own symbols, and with my schedule, I might not be able to do a majority of objects.

So yeah, this is my blog....and I have to go let the rockets fly.

ITA, college admissions due!!!!!

So today the admissions is due; final drafts, final editing and peer editing.

The classroom of Audacity; it is magical, powerful tool, but it DOES NOT OPEN PREVIOUSLY SAVED FILES! That's why I don't have a certain 'project' created, it told me the audio files basically suck and that it would not open.

Its okay, but preferably ACID is better.

ITA....finishing up those picture things

Today in the ITA labs we finished our picture-collage thing we started a few weeks back. I touched up on my ape-thing and added some purple body armor to him. He is a beast.

ITA: We the seniors, Day 1

Today we came and were directed to a room filled with the creepiest printed pictures on the tables, colored only in black and white.

So the process of using real and digital art to enhance images is pretty simple. You basically take an image and refine it over courses of using art tools such as pencils, markers, scissors etc... and then using the computer to edit it or mash the refining back together.

I used several images today, one of them being "the chief". I kind of made a little story about him after I mashed him up with the dalmatian and some random city bench I Googled. The story was "A day with the chief" and his background was that he was blind and he had a watch dog, waiting eagerly for the bus to arrive as he sat on the bench.
